Samproduktion af energi og foder

Formålet med delprojekt 1 er at konvertere kløvergræs, husdyrgødning, energiafgrøder (majs og vinterrug) samt valle fra økologisk jordbrug til biogas, bioethanol og proteinrigt dyrefoder. Der vil blive udviklet en ”easy to handle” metode til at omdanne disse afgrøder til bioethanol med fokus på fermentering med bagergær og produktion af enzymer ved spiring af korn. Der udvikles en optimeret biogasproces, hvor restprodukter fra bioethanolproduktionen anvendes sammen med husdyrgødning og valle. Biogasoptimeringen vil blive udført i laboratorieskala, pilotskala samt på et ”full scale” anlæg. Desuden udvikles en biogasproces, hvor vallepermeat og kløvergræs omdannes til energi og foder. Der vil blive foretaget en evaluering af økonomi og energibalancer for denne samproduktion af biogas, bioethanol og proteinrigt dyrefoder i et økologisk gårdfællesanlæg.
